What we've done

Megan Plews Consulting (MPC Inc.) brings hands-on experience from across health, social services, and community systems. Our work spans frontline service delivery, organizational leadership, and large-scale systems development.

Over the course of our work, we have:

  • Designed and implemented health, addictions, and wellness programs
  • Developed community-based homelessness and housing-first initiatives
  • Built employment and training programs for Indigenous youth and adults
  • Led community engagement, facilitation, and consultation processes
  • Managed complex, multi-year projects involving multiple partners
  • Supported First Nations in developing and implementing their own laws
  • Designed Child and Family Services systems, models, and operational frameworks
  • Conducted needs assessments, environmental scans, and feasibility studies
  • Led strategic planning, business planning, and funding-ready documentation
  • Served in senior leadership roles, including Health Director for a First Nation

Our experience allows us to understand how programs function in practice—not just in theory—and to design systems that are realistic, implementable, and sustainable

How this helps

Our work helps clients move from ideas and challenges to practical, working systems.

By combining frontline experience, organizational leadership, and systems-level planning, we help clients:

  • Design programs that are realistic, implementable, and culturally grounded
  • Strengthen service coordination across departments and partners
  • Improve readiness for funding, implementation, and growth
  • Reduce risk by aligning programs, policies, and operations
  • Make informed decisions using both data and lived experience
  • Build systems that are sustainable beyond the planning phase

Our focus is not just on producing reports—but on supporting real implementation and long-term impact.

Who we work with

Megan Plews Consulting (MPC Inc.) works with a wide range of clients, including:

  • First Nations and Indigenous governments
  • Indigenous organizations and service providers
  • Health, social service, and community-based organizations
  • Non-profits and Indigenous-led initiatives
  • Companies working in or alongside Indigenous and community systems

We work with clients at different stages—whether building new programs, strengthening existing services, or navigating complex systems change. Our role adapts to the needs of each client—sometimes as a planner, sometimes as a facilitator, and often as a bridge between different systems and perspectives.
